About

Hand made onsite. Family-owned. Forty years.

Established in the 1980's, Pasta Deli is a family owned and operated business focused on creating fresh and authentic home-style cooking with an Italian influence.

Pasta Deli baker hand-making dough at the Glynde kitchen

It started at Glynde.

Pasta Deli opened on Glynburn Road in the 1980's as a small family-owned Italian deli. Forty years later, the kitchen is still on Glynburn Road — only now it feeds three Adelaide locations and a long list of catering customers, retirement villages, schools and offices.

The Glynde kitchen is the heart. Every cannoli, every zepolle, every tray of lasagne starts there. By the time it reaches Norwood or Burnside Village, it's still the same morning's batch.

What we make.

Patisserie

Cannoli, bombolone, sfogliatelle, the world-famous zepolle. Filled fresh, dusted in the morning, gone by close.

Pasta

Hand-made daily. Lasagne, cannelloni, marinara, bolognese — for the bain-marie, for take-home, for catering.

Roasts

Pork, chicken, beef. Daily from the Glynde oven. Generous, well-priced, and we always offer a take-home container.

Coffee + sandwiches

Strongest at Norwood. The muffuletta is the signature; the salami and chilli-jam panini is the regulars’ pick.

Three formats, one kitchen.

Each location does what its catchment needs:

  • Glynde is the full thing — sit-down dining, the full bain-marie, the patisserie counter, take-home retail.
  • Norwood is coffee + grab-and-go on The Parade — sandwiches, salads, mini pizzas, patisserie. Limited indoor seating; takeaway encouraged.
  • Burnside Village is pasta retail — fresh pasta, sauces, take-home meals, late Thursday opening for the post-work pickup crowd.

Same kitchen. Three different days you might walk in.
